Could you tell me where I could order the twister tool? Preferably on a site that also sells fabric. I will have to pay an excessive amount of postage to Europe, so it might be best if I could also order some fabric to make it worthwhile.

Both sites will list all the shops that carry it, and they all sell fabrics on their websites.

There are, obviously, other shops not included, who may or may not list on their website or carry it at all.

But that's a start.

Or, the other option, go to a glass shop and have your own made from lucite. ;-)

Thank you for your prompt responses. I didn't get anywhere with google search. But your suggestions seem worthwhile to follow up on.

Have my own made seems like a good option but I'd need a pattern for it first. On the other hand, you can glimpse enough of it on the sites where it's on sale. Then I'd just have to get some directions.

The key is that it work like a tesselation, so the measurements, or the size of the blades, on each side need to be exactly the same.

So if each blade starts 2" in from the corner,, then it has to be that way on ALL 4 sides of the square.
Now connect those dots thru the center.
See?

Now by adjusting the angle - as long the lines still bisect the center, you can get a totally different look (from every other Twister quilt out there), with the same amount of work.

There is a lot of info here on this board about making your own. Do a search for "twister tool" A lot of good stuff comes up!

So, if I take one of my square rulers and add off-set lines, I'll have my own twister ruler... Hmm, pondering!! :)
