Look at some of the Dissappearing Hourglass quilts on QB to see if you want to try one. The DHG is a Missouri Stár Quilt Co. Tutorial. I it did a 12 inch block tutorial for Dissappearing Hourglass on QB.

I just did the DHG with a turquoise batik and cream. It's at the LA right now It's such a fun pattern. I got excited with each block that I got to cut and turn. You have to be careful of the cutting though.

Single Irish Chain came to mind immediately. The other suggestions here sound great too.

The possibilities are endless - Irish Chain, Hunter's Star, and any number of quilts from tutorials on MSQC. Right now I'm making the Disappearing Hourglass I from MSQC in purple and white, it's totally awesome. I would go through pictures here on the QB for inspiration, as well as tutorials on You Tube. I'm a big fan of two color quilts, so I can't wait to see what you decide to make. Keep us posted on what you decide.

Half square triangles can be made into so many different designs as desired. They are fun to play around with.
