Two color pattern
 

I'm looking for a quilt pattern that only uses two colors. Preferably white and another color. Something on the medium to advance level, but would love to see easy options too.

Snails Trail (aka Monkey Wrench) is good for 2 colors

Im following this ...im also doing two color. Lotsa pinks and whites. Been thinking of jewelbox or ninepatch on point.

There is another book on Amazon call "Two Color Quilts" by Better Homes and Gardens. You might check it out. Hope you find just the right pattern that works for you. OOPS found another called "Two-Color Quilts" by Nancy J Martin. I'll let you know if I find more.

And also Anvil which is an old quilt pattern. I've made several and it's striking when it's finished with a dark print and white.

There was one in American Patchwork & Quilting this month - Butterchurn - which I'm thinking of making. It's simple and beautiful!

Winding ways, hunters star, day and night

I have made and posted two quilts made with two fabrics. I used a floral and a splotchy together. Here is one of them. the other is not on this computer.

How about Arrowhead? Quiltmaker had it a while back and the download is free on this page. We did it as a mystery block at a quilt retreat. Even the beginners were able to make them. We all fell in love!

Sky's the limit when it comes to two colour quilts. Any simple block or blocks will do. I like red and cream or red and white. Pineapple block looks great as a red and white. But I'm sure you find something.
