UFO D9P blocks

I can't seem to find any fabrics that are sort of pastel to have enough blocks to finish this charity quilt so I thought of setting the blocks on point. Do you think this design will work??? Here is my design from EQ5, the blocks and the fabric I got for the setting triangles, TRYING to finish some of my TOO many UFOs. THANKS :)

I love your blocks! Very sweet.

I think your aqua dot would both coordinate, and set it off nicely.

I do suggest auditioning the dot fabric tho.

If you don't have a design wall, spread out the dot fabric on your bed. Lay your blocks on it, in the EQ pattern you posted.

It might be a bit too blendy. We do like our borders to accent the quilt part.

I think you have found a perfect solution! Pretty blocks!

I think it works very well.

Works great!! Creative solution. I have some extra D9p blocks too and have been trying to figure out how to stretch them out into a charity quilt too.

Very pretty. On point adds to the design. Perfect choice.

I think it's amazing how often setting blocks on point turns a quilt from ho-hum to wow! I agree with auditioning the aqua dot fabric. In your EQ5 drawing the blocks seem to float on a light background, and I think you would get a different effect (perhaps just as nice) with the aqua.

i love them on point... and i love that polka dot fabric, too
