I may have several things going at once, but no UFO's. I get distracted easily (bored) so I need to have a couple of different things to keep me interested.

I also tend to make a big mess when I'm working on a project, so anything left undone might never be found!

I can't even count how many I have. When I see something here, I can't wait to try it out...so I have a dozen or more. My biggest one that hangs over my head is my Dresden Plate. The plates were fun and came out beautifully but then I decided to applique a vine with flowers all around the border. I am horrible at figuring a pattern repeat and had drawn it out on paper and then put it on the quilt. Unfortunately, I did all four sides and when I got to the corners, not one of them matched. It's been sitting in a bag in my closet for 5 years and it's one of the few quilts I've made just for me. I have played with the corners until I'm sick of it. Have a 2nd home in NC and live near Georgia Bonesteele. I even took the quilt to her for help but when I tried doing what she suggested, it still didn't turn out. Now I'm giving a lot of consideration to just picking out all the applique (queen size) and not having the vine in the corner. Anyone want me to ship the quilt to them and have you figure out my corners? Am I insane to think about unsewing all the applique? Has this quilt truly driven me to insanity?

Oh, how I want this quilt on my bed but it looks like it won't ever happen.

No UFO's here, but about 6 WIP's(2 of them are BOW and 1 is BOM) I also just have to finish...

I try to finish up everything at least once a year--we have a feature at guild for UFO's--we have to list them at the first of the year and then the recorder marks them off our list as we show our projects at guild meeting. I had eleven items on my list and have finished 2 of them to date.

i have several tops that i have pieced but i don't consider them ufos. i piece alot in the summer and do more quilting in the colder months. i usually let my gkids pick from my tops when it's thier turn to get a quilt. i have 12 gkids so it will take awhile for everyone to get quilted!!!!

At the moment I do not have any but I do have one started and another that needs to be started. I also have another baby quilt to make as I have my 25th grandchild on the way. I like to work on a few things at a time because I cannot stay in the same place too long at a time.
I have a quilt going on the machine and a crosstitch and dhand embroidery going by my easy chair. I also have a good book there if I get tired of the whole thing. lol

I am like too, no UFOs, and typically like to just have one big project and one small project going, but now I have many I am working on, can't wait to finish them up and get organized again...it is tiring for me to switch from project to the next, and I can't feel as accomplished.

Hey, I really like your definition. I have many OP's, but now that I'm retired, my goal is to get going and finish them all.

LOL* I love this comment. I agree ;) I'm a chronic project starter but I only actually finish about a third of what I start...and often projects that start out as one thing end up as another. Like a baby quilt that becomes a tote because I don't want to continue on it any longer... ;)

You remind me of my husband. He would start a project and if it didn't go as he wanted he would stop and never go back to it. That drove me crazy! Guess that's why I can't stand UFOs.
