UFOs are F'd! Yeah!
 

We are traveling for Christmas, so did not decorate the house or do much shopping. After I completed some year-end "musts", I had some time so I disappeared into my studio (aka the cat's room, the guest room, etc.) to sew. I didn't want to start a big new project so decided to see what was lurking in a cabinet.

Among other things, I found five (5!) completed or nearly completed tops with the fabric for backs, but no backs finished. (I like to piece my quilt backs to coordinate with or complement the tops.) So, over the couple of weeks, I finished the the backs, packaged them with the tops and have them ready to take to the LAQ after the holidays. Yeah! Paying for the work will be my Christmas present to myself. And I've cleared the decks so I can think about starting something grand in January.

I also finished some orphan blocks into hot pads and got to practice my FMQ in the process.

Among the projects is a wedding quilt for my step son and his wife who were married more than a year ago. Another Yeah!

Just wanted to share my success as it did not impress either the cat nor my DH.

Congratulations on a job well Done!! If I worked everyday in 2013 on my UFO's I still don't think I would have them all done!
