Very pretty! I like your solid hearts against the black and white check. The solution is to sash them on all four sides. I'd use black or white two inch strips. It will look great, even if it's not what you intended or the pattern calls for.

I agree with Kassandra, put a narrow border even 1 1/2" to 2" and that way it won't be noticed if the points do not line up. I've seen many quilters on You Tube do this. I'd give it a try.

Narrow borders can be tricky for new quilters, requiring perfect-er seams. I'd go with easing in or an uneven block placement of some kind.

You could also flip every other block and you'd never be able to see that they aren't all exactly the same.

Try using a sashing between the blocks.
