Okay, my friend and I have been emailing all day, and here is what I have so far for her.
She just decided on the borders, and I will include that picture too. She selected the pattern, based on others I have made, and bought and mailed me the fabric. She is very pleased and has had fun doing this. Me too, though a scrappy quilt is still a bit out of my comfort zone. Okay, here is where I am... |
I like it. Scrappy is one of my favorites.

It's beautiful. I love scrappies too.

I like scrappy quilts! If you use all of your own scraps it's a great journal...you can see how your tastes have changed and bring back memories of quilts you have made. If you use those donated by friends, you will always keep them in the back of your mind.

I really like it!

Thank, everyone. If you have followed my other posts on this, you know that I tend to make two or three colored quilts. I have a great deal of trouble visualizing what the final quilt will look like. That is why this group is so good. I can get help figuring out what might look good.
In this case, I told a friend I would make her a quilt if she selected the pattern and bought the quilt. I am starting to like it, but it needs more blue and purple to be a quilt I would really like. :) Still, she is happy and, therefore, so am I. |
Opps, she bought the fabric, not the quilt.
|
Looks great, try to have fun with it!
