I'm ready to make the plunge into machine quilting and after reading a ton of reviews about different products decided to ask the real pros which machines really fit the bill for a first machine to be used for pleasure not a business. I regard your opinions and thank you in advance.

We love our Tin Lizzie. It is realitively, inexpensive if you don't get the Lizzie stitch (automatic quilting by computer) Its great for pantograph, fmc and it has vertical and horozontal locks so it does cross hatching and straight line quilting easily. The frame is excellent and sturdy. It uses steel poles so you don't have that "give" that can make a straight line into a curve. We love it.
