Thanks for any input.

I have an Elna Excellence 720, which I love. It is similar to the Janome 6500 and 6600. My machine has the integrated feed system which is used in conjunction with accessory feet. If your machine has the same feature, then I highly recommend buying the 1/4" foot that connects with the walking foot that pulls down from the rear of the machine. I think that this system was called "ADT".

You can find more information about your machine at sewing.patternreview.com

I just bought one today, I hope it will be at least 1/2 the machine my Pfaff 7500 was. I used it many years and was sad when it Everything would turn on but nothing would sew ... when press down on foot pedal.
I did Get a good price on it so I am happy about that, On the Elna, The reviews I have found have all been good.
I guess I forgot how to add a picture.

I bought one yesterday for $575. I have heard and read nothing but good things about this machine. There is not much on the net about it, I was hoping to find tutorials, I have watched the few I found on YouTube. Nancy
The machine I bought looks new.
