Ohh, I love the idea of using them in hot pads or other gifts. Mind is busy now!

After learning how to FMQ one has to consider how to handle the bulk of the quilt, but you don't have to learn both at the same time when you practice on a reasonable size piece. Mine are trash later.

love this idea. can still get more use out of a few of my practice squares already fmq'd with 3 or 4 different color threads from practicing particular patterns which I still haven't quite mastered. thnx for the tip.

pot holders.........pieces to put under flower pots

You could draw on them and use them as foundations for mug mats and other QAYG projects.
