using a domestic machine like a long arm
 

Long ago I saw plans to build (or buy??) a little roller cart for a regular sewing machine, that you could move around on your frame table, so that it would function similarly to a long arm, in that the quilt is on the frame, and does not move, but the sewing machine moves up and down it. I cannot find my bookmark, and all Googling doesn't seem to find it either. Anyone know what this is called, or who makes/sells it? Thanks!

I don't know anything about a website with plans to build one. but handiquilter is essentially that - platform tracks and frame. I had one but finally threw it away. The harp of my domestic machines (even my Juki 98E) just wasn't big enough to do what I wanted to do. I make mostly bed size (queen or larger) quilts.
