Using Flat Felled foot to attach and stitch down quilt binding
About a year ago, I round a YouTube Tutorial that demonstrated using a flat felled foot to attach and sew down quilt binding............It was WONDERFUL! There were no extra ugly seams on the back, all raw edges encases, and the binding was neat and even................
To save me, I cannot find that video..........I have found several that demonstrate use of that foot, but ne that demo it for attaching and sewing down the binding......... Anyone by any chance have that bookmarked and willing to share? THANKS! |
Found this… but no video

What brand machine do you have? I have Janome and haven't figured out which foot is supposed to be the flat felled one! I need to stop by the sewing machine store and check it out, I guess.

Love that video. I'd like to try that out on a quilt.

I have that foot. It's for my Bernina. I saw it demonstrated on the Bernina website.

There's a whole lot of PDFs http://www.sewingmachinesplus.com/me...techniques.pdf |
I remember the video you are referencing, but like you I could not find it after about a two hour search. However, if you are wanting to attach the binding in kind of a one step method I found a video of the Bernina binding attachment. Hope this helps you. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wyUBTitMGVE
