I have heard about using selvages for quilt making, but I have not seen any photos yet that shows what these quilts look like. Do any of you have any quilts you can show me? It interests me so I thought I would ask to see what you could tell me about these quilts. Thanks

No quilts, it takes forever to collect enough, but I did make a little zippered bag for when I went into hospital with some hand sewing.

Those are beautiful!!

SandyinZ4 09-04-2011 07:59 PM

I will post my selvage quilt as soon as it is finished. Have the blocks done but plan to do it as Quilt As You Go (QAYG) so it will take me some time to get it finished.

Great little quilts!! You are very creative!! I always tossed my selvages...have now started saving them...some people on here would like to trade for them...but, since seeing your quilts, and the funky chicken pincushion, I may just have to keep those selvages, and experiment...anyways, love, love, love your quilts...

Great ideas!

dotcomdtcm 09-06-2011 06:49 AM
