I'm trying to make a pinwheel quilt out of the Moda Turnovers. Pinked edges are giving me fits.

I know to either stick with the peaks or valleys so I chose the valleys. No problem until I go to sew the two halves together. I can see the pinked edges on one side but not the other. Even if I chose the peaks I think I would still run into the same problem. Is there an easier way to do this or should I just take the time to cut off the pinked edges? Thanks.

If you trim these down, then you will have to make the same trimming adjustment on all of the rest of your pieces

What are turnovers?

This is the exact reason why I stay away from those little bundles of delights. Drives me nuts trying to get everything to line up. Give a fat quarter any day!

They are like charm square packs only a triangle shape. :D:D:D

oh - definitely not my thing - thank you

I've never noticed if my peaks or valley were lined up at all. I line up the edges not the pinking. I'd go nuts trying to line up the pinking. I never knew anyone to to that.

I just did a pinwheel using these...I didn't try to line up the pinking, and used the "peak" as the outside edge and stitched a 1/4 inch from that...it lined up fine.
