Valentine's Quilted Wall Hanging

We have a local shoppe here that sells notions & machines, and she offers classes, too.
I stopped by there today & she is offering a class to make a Valentine's wall hanging, but she didn't have the pattern (because it is "in her head," she says). She told me to buy pinks & whites & reds ... whatever strikes my fancy, and that this wall hanging will incorporate prairie points (my favorite!).

I told her that I'd really like to see the pattern.
She said that it was in a magazine, probably last year.
She doesn't remember which magazine.

Does this happen to ring a bell for anyone?
I'm sort of new at this & am going to "take classes" this year .... feeling pretty excited about that.
Sure hope she'll show me the pattern before I get started.
Fabric is too expensive for a "maybe."

If you have any thoughts, magazine suggestions from the last couple of years, or photos to share with me .... thank you so much!!

I have seen a pattern that the heart was make up of 3D prairie points that when laying flat on the wallhanging, they form the heart in different shades of pink and red. I think the prairie points were sewn in strips across the wall handing? It was about 50 inches square. I don't know the pattern name or even if this is the same one.

I think that it is highly likely that this could be the pattern. I was hoping to see a photo of it.

Interesting that she's not requiring the students to buy the magazine. This is likely a copyright infringement issue and would not have been allowed in my shop's classes.

Or failing that, she should have written permission to rewrite the pattern on her own and use it in a class. Or ask for a written pattern that the student will have to pay for. The pattern was designed by "someone" and they deserve by ethics and by law to earn from the reproduction of that pattern.

These things really "get to me" as I've had my own infringement issues and had to go after a teacher. It hurts.
If she will not allow you to see the pattern before the class is paid for and attended, perhaps she should be alerted to what she appears to be doing.

Somewhere in my collection of patterns I have one like that -- wonder where the heck it is! I'll check - if I can find it I will get you the name of the pattern and the designer.
