so i am on vacation in las vegas, and one of my favorite quilts shops was nancy's quilts in north las vegas.....guess what--- it is closed!! it closed its doors last october...it was sad!!! anyway, i went to christmas goose quilt store (that was a neat place) and to fabric boutique, also very nice.....it is just sad that so many quilt (and scrapbooking) places are going out of business lately!!!!!...........gina

It is sad that so many have had to close their doors.
However, I am so glad you found some other LQS's to enjoy while on your vacation.

So very sad!! I also look forward to seeing the quilt shops in our vacations trips.

I also went to the Christmas Goose Quilt shop in Vegas in February. Just happened to be having a special that day(3 yards for 23.99) You can mix and match, can be fat quarters, yardage, etc, as long as it adds up to three yeards. Nice fabrics, great sales associates. I'll be back next year!
