Versatile Wave purse pattern

Has anyone ever made one of these purses? I saw one and thought it was a nice idea. I has a basic purse with replaceable outer jacket and handles.

It sounds like a pattern I bought but have not made yet. We are making them at an upcoming bee. The bee organizer has made it and will be helping us.

a gal in our senior quilting bee made one and it turned out great! her only comment was that if she did it again, she would put tabs on the ends of the zipper.

Love this pattern! You could make so many changes to your basic bag so that it would match the season, the holiday, the formal/informal affair you might be going to, etc. What a great idea!

I love to make purses, this might just be the next one I make!

How cool is that! Never heard of this pattern, but now am thinking about making it!

a gal at guild tonight had one. she didn't like the zipper directly on the top so she inset it about a half inch below the top. i asked how many bottoms she'd made... she said just the one for herself... but she made 6 bottoms for her daughter LOL

I have made a few of them. I even enlarged the pattern to make some a little bigger.

OMG. Another collection......bag bottoms...cute idea...great way to use some fabric pieces.....

I just bought the pattern recently. Anxious to start on it. Thanks for some of the tips you shared above. (about the tabs and the zipper placement). Love the idea of changing the "outer part" and not having to transfer all the contents to another bag when you want to change purses.

Does anyone have a link for the pattern or a picture? It sounds really interesting!

This is all I found when I Googled it. Lousy internet connection today so couldn't watch the video.

I Googled it but nothing came up but a bowl to make using embroidery. Can anyone direct us to this pattern? We would greatly appreciate it. Thanks. Jeanne

That's really cute. I had a tote that you buttoned placemats onto to change the look of it. Similar idea. You buttoned the placemat on the top and then ran it under and up the other side and buttoned it there. Thanks for sharing.

Can't see any picture. Did you post one?

I believe this is the wave purse you may be wanting to see and make, the purse was designed by Ruthann Stilwell, and it is called Versatile Wave Interchangeable Purse, you may want to contact Susan Rooney Patterns, to find out where you can purchase Ruthann's pattern for this purse. Website would be: http://www.susanrooneypatterns.com

I hope this helps you out.
