I found a very dangerous store today. I have known about ever since I've lived here, but never stopped in until today. OH. My. Word. It's an outlet, think "Ross" for fabric and all things fabric. I went straight to the stacked-high tables of 100% cotton and started going through it. Remnants, most of them LQS quality - i.e. I found a piece of Moda there :) Cost? $3.99 per yard! I got 2 3/4 yards of one fabric, 2 yards of another (that is backing width too boot!) and 1 yard of yet another! I'll take pictures and post them later.
Oh, and you wouldn't believe the bolts of batics they had! Probably 15 different colors, and they looked high quality! MUST.RESIST.MUST.FIGHT.THE.CAR.FROM.DRIVING.THERE! |
Lucky you, I have NOTHING like that near me, but that could be a good thing for me too! Have fun.
do you think that you could buy some for me? (J/K kind of)what is the name of the store and are they online?
What's the name of the outlet?
Lucky you but you didn't mention the name of the store.
I know what you mean, I have one store on my way home that my car just steers its way there. Tonite I had to control myself and my car! Yikes, it is so fun though! Buying fabric is my real addiction!
We have a Ross - but it's a clothing outlet store... :-(
Hello. That sounds like a store for me. What's the name please & thank you :?: :?: :?: Have a blessed day.

Sorry all :) The store is SAS Fabric by the Pound. I doubt they have an on line store, and right now I don't have time to look!
OH you poor thing, Just keep repeating
I MUST NOT.RESIST.I MUST NOT.AND NEVER FIGHT.THE.CAR.FROM.DRIVING.THERE! I promise this will work   |
Checked out the internet looks like they are only a brick and morter store in Phoenix , Tuscon or Tempe AZ , although I found a reference to one in Hawthorne, CA but not sure if it's the same - will have to wait until I visit my relative there.
here's info on the AZ stores: http://blogs.phoenixnewtimes.com/jac...und_lets_s.php |

The one I go to is on 19th Ave just south of Peoria.... |
Sharon, I agree you have to be careful of the quality, that's why I said you need to dig through it :) A lot of it was just plain junk but there were some gems, as far as I can tell, also. Washing the fabric will reveal much, I suspect. I only got a small amount, and dh told me that I've already almost used up my discretionary money for the year     so I suspect I won't be heading there much anyhow :)

Thanks for the info. I will visit the Tempe store, I live in Mesa.
