Viking c-171
 

hi every one i have got a husqvarna viking c-171 sewing machine and i cant get it to stitch i think it is the tension can any body help me with a diagram so i can start using this machine thanks johnnie

I have Vikings but I know nothing about this model. Sorry! Do you have a manual? Can you download one from the internet to find out what the settings should be? You can always call the Viking headquarters customer service, they are very good at helping with anything you need.

I certainly don't want to offend you, but have you checked what your stitch length is at? This happened to me and it took me awhile to figure it out, silly goose that I am!!!

Hope this will help you. Also make sure the thread is secure in the tension discs, and the needle inserted and threaded the correct way. If stitching is too loose (nesting underneath), tighten the tension. good luck
