I just brought this as a back up for my Pfaff, (tension keeps changing-needs to go into the shop) but now I am wondering if you can do any FMQ on it? The feed dogs go down, but I'm not sure why. Any information or help? :hunf:

You can FMQ with the Emerald 116, I used to sell these. You need a darning foot.

You'll have to ask your dealer which darning foot you need,
I don't recall which one goes with the Emerald.
