I have seen one in an antique store and wondered why I don't hear much on these. I thought it was the neatest, May just have to go back and get it!
|
I picked one up at one of the local thrift stores for $2.50...new in the box, complete with water bulb, the bag, the warrenty paperwork and all...IT ROCKS! Have to be careful, as the whole iron gets hot, it's really not intended for lengthy sessions...I have one of my cast iron trivets under mine at all times, and am careful not to leave it plugged in.

That's just like the one I took to camp back in jr high.

I love them Too! have Many! even a Lavender one! and lucky to have one that still has the spray bottle too! they are great irons for Quilting and taking to class. 8-)[/quote]
I had that lavender one oh so many years ago, got it with S&H green stamps! |
I have 2 of them, one steam and one dry. Picked them up at the flea market. Great irons, get super hot and never shut off!
