I bought this little gem at the thrift store. It is the "never lift" kind that will raise up on little legs when you push the button on top. It weighs a lot and I really want to keep using it. I've been using it and now the thermostat needs replacing. Does anyone know where I can this done for less than the national debt?

i don't know where you can get a new thermostat, but for $49.95 +, you can get a new olisio on amazon. that also has the little legs.

I found a place in ABQ that refurbishes them and waffle irons as well. Have heard both good and bad about the Olisio.

I'm going to get my Proctor fixed, but needing an iron now, I bought a Rowenta pro master today. I have a Rowenta in NM that has not given me too much trouble, so hope this one does ok.
