Does anyone know the pattern name?

It is called Improved Nine-Patch....

Oh, meant to say I have always liked this pattern....

One of my books call it "Glorified Nine Patch" I'm sure there are several other names. Beautiful quilt by the way.

I first heard it named Improved 9 patch back in the 70's. I'm making an updated one where the points don't
come to a point but are squared and there's a little cornerstone where the points meet.

I have the pattern. I is also called circle upon circle and came out sometime in the twenties or thirties. Sort of a variation to a nine patch and sometimes considered akin to the double wedding ring.
