I got closer to done on my "Americana Quilt" that Im using to learn FMQ. Its turning into a bit of a quilting sampler and it will be really interesting to see which of the messy spots fade away when its washed and which are annoying.4 more rounds to go.

Cedar… i have found that with FMQ that WASHING (and DRYING) COVERS A MULTITUDE OF SINS!
i have been doing FMQ for many years, but if its been quite a while since my last project i definitely get kinda RUSTY. Then it takes a little while for the muscle memory to kick back in again. In the meantime i do have some ISSUES to work through. The washer and dryer are my FRIENDS! I use Hobbs fusible batting and fortunately for me i do like that puckery/crinkly/old look that happens when you wash & dry 80/20 cotton batting. 🤩 |

Looking for ideas please on how to quilt this top that I have been given to finish for donation. I stitch on my regular machine and may have to draw out a design to follow if I can’t figure out something straight forward. I am not very good at meandering, nor do I like the look of it. 😃

Thanks Dedemac about the 3 girls. It really is beautiful what you've done. This VQW I've redone all the 2026 BOM's Three have turned out at 6 1/2 inches unfinished but I'm having trouble with the snail trail one. I now have a 5" & 6" but I'll try 1 more tine to get it right.

Here is a pic of Aubry's zipper bag. Simple, but great purse organizer! I used leftovers from last quilt.

I finished one of the Sue quilts and posted a picture in pictures section
