I'm way behind on the 52 Blocks in 52 Weeks Challenge (I think I'm on block 8:D) so I may work on that.
I've also got a bee in my bonnet to make a free-form something with a hole in the middle that looks like this and I have no idea how....so, I may give that a go.

EPP like a GFG? Or just applique and use a thick black satin stitch for the lines? That is an interesting challenge you have thought up!

There are 25 quilt tops resting on a bed upstairs. I must sort them and choose 3 that can go into a sale in September. Then carefully press the top and do the paperwork.

I've decided to start selling the finished tops and a lot of my stash. Burdening my relatives with all this stuff and then having them flippantly destroy what I've worked so hard to create.....that won't happen. I'm going to sell it and then spend the money.

After all you can't buy your way out of Hell nor can you buy your way into Heaven. So I'm going to spend it while I am here.

Quick block for our guild's small animal quilt project

Thanks for hosting again! I have a small stuffed animal provided by our guild. We take the animal home and make a quilt for it using an orphan block or scraps. The animals with quilts are collected and given to children in stressful situations. (social worker, policemen, shelter etc.) Its a good time to try out new block patterns, free-motion quilting, and techniques like binding. I feel like there is no stress making these tiny quilts...fun and done!

I found a little cabinet with drawers at a Goodwill store for $3.75 so I took the glass knobs off and spray painted it gray. It tucks under my ironing board right next to the right of my sewing machine. So now I am working on putting all my most used quilting tools, thread, etc. in the drawers. Then if I have time I want to decide what is my next quilting project and pull fabric from my stash. I just finished making pot holders out of leftover quilt blocks so am caught up on UFOs. That is what I will be working on this weekend. No stress for me.

Themadpatter yes that is the quilt I want to do. Isn’t it cute. I am having a time trying to find fabrics that I think will look good. I am hoping some of the batiks I have in stash will work.

I have a couple thing I plan on doing quilting wise. First is to finish the Scrappy Double Irish Chain quilt that is currently on the frame. If there is time in between Saturday and Sunday's canning of cherries and what ever I can pick up at the Farmers Market I want to work on the blocks for the quilt I just started this morning. I have a busy weekend planned for the canner/quilter that I am. I have no clue how much I will get done. I will have to let everyone know at the end of the weekend.

I'm in. I have all the hexagons basted to finish my quilt. Now I'm just making flowers to add to it. I'm on the fifth row now. I'm going to have a total of seven rows.

What are you going to spend it on? I hope you aren’t going to quilt quilting. You always make me laugh!

I am working on Pam Buda’s “Circa 1800”. I love it but will be so happy when I have the top completed. It is very intense. I have made a few small quilts on the sidelines just to give myself a break.

Just took a problem quilt off my frame.....finished it and just got it trimmed this morning so will be adding the binding on this weekend. I'm' now working on quilting layouts using ProQ Designer program to give myself ideas what to do on 2 quilts I need to finish before the middle of September. Yes, I know it shouldn't take that long to quilt them. Also am working on putting my blocks together for a quilt I designed myself using a panel for the center and adding pieced sashings and blocks to make it a king size quilt.
