Since I babysit the skittish dog. I will be seeing my fireworks on television. I have two sides on one of my placemats, and made some progress on my snowman quilt. I am also starting a table runner with mittens on it for winter time.

I love these weekends that we share what we have made. Thanks for having them. Looking forward to next month.

Wonderful comments and pictures!

I finished serging 50 baby bibs (1 type shown below) and zigzagged the serging tails on 100 of them. I also finished my orphan block quilt top. It sure took me a long time to get it done. All but 3 blocks, tumblers, and sashing were donated blocks and strips.

I only serged a few bibs this morning before my son and I headed over to my other son and his wife's house for lunch and visiting. My daughter-in-law's family was there also. We had a great time!

And here are chairs that I recovered the seats this weekend there are actually 6 but I took one back to the study. I've had this fabric in my stash for years and finally found a use for it

Hey Marcia, he's 30 years old, which is getting up there for a horse. Chiropracors here as well, also accupuncture--

Okay. It looks like the pics of the chairs I recovered didn't come thru so I'll try again.

What great pictures y'all are posting! Patrice's doggie up on the bed on her gorgeous quilt really made me smile... too cute!

This is the sum total of my sewing this holiday weekend! These will be set on point for the border of a Civil War sampler quilt, Rest and Refreshing.

I am to 2nd border - which is pieced and I am trying to decide if I want to do that or just make a plain border :) There was a lot of piecing in this one and I am tired ha ha ha Maybe tomorrow I will be up to it tomorrow
