I really like virtual quilt weekend and so often miss it.

what is VQW?

Virtual Quilting Weekend is an "event" where people come here to say what they're planning on doing over the next three days. They set their goals then check in regularly over the weekend to report and see what progress others are making. I don't often participate but it's always fun to see what people are up to!

think I've already gone in to state what I hope to accomplish. So far I've got about 12 yards of fabrics starched and now dry. Started pressing them yesterday and will continue today. On one pattern I'm waiting for a tan fabric I had to actually order as I needed over 5 yards and most of my bolts are only 5yds. Went to Quilted Twins and found a backing on sale that might do the trick for me. Since I also needed backing for the 5 oversized laps on my agenda, I ordered them also. Now is the waiting game but they're quick to ship and I should receive them around Tuesday.
