Just curious how long most of you have to wait for a LAQ to get to your quilt, from the time your first notify her (or him) that you have a top ready for quilting.
Here in central NJ (near "the Jersey shore") we seem to have a wait time of at least 3 months. I suspect it's regional (more LAQs in some parts of the country/world) ... and I suspect the pricing is also somewhat regional. marcia |
Here lately turn around time for the quilting has been about 3 weeks for me. It just depends on where my tops fall in line. I have waited up to 6 months.

I know that if it is a few months before a quilt show, the wait is longer because all the entrants have theirs at the best quilters.

Usually 2-3 weeks here. There a 6 or8 LAQ in this area, so wait time is not so bad.

We have a local LAQ who always says 7 months!! I just take my business elsewhere. Longest wait so far is 8 weeks.
