haha - alls i said was need a longer screw and hubby was out the door to go in search of one!! guess he didn't feel like hanging around while i clean (of course while i was at the dentist he did clean the bathroom, made the bed and did dishes so i can't complain!)

by the way I am cleaning - i just sprinkled carpet freshner on the carpet and it said to wait at least 5 minutes before vacuuming!

Walking feet are also excellent to put on binding and borders. Go for it! :)

My very first quilt I made ... I decided that the quilting should be done in a decorative stitch using metallic gold thread (yeah, I tend to jump into new things head first don't I). When it wasn't working I asked my machine dealer what I was doing wrong and he said "is your walking foot installed properly?" ... my what?

So yeah ... it's necessary :)

I often use my walking foot for piecing. Works great!!! If you haven't tried it, please do.

Yes, indeed invest in another one if you can't get an attachment that will allow you to use the old one.
