Can anyone suggest a fairly simple wall hanging that I could do
in a short time. I need to do a new one for our daughter who
has a basic navy and light colored living room. She has a fire-
place between living and dining room. Would like a new wall
hanging for over the fireplace.

Please some ideas???

Thank you so much.

Go look thru the wall hanging patterns in the Clotilde catalog and maybe the Keepsake Quilting catalog. They'll give you lots of ideas at least.

My favorite wall hanging is a Texas Star. If it is strip pieced it does not take long. You could use navy and blues and tints of her light color and maybe throw in a touch of yellow. It could be very dramatic.

carpenter's wheel. Very easy with half square triangles and easy to enlarge. Also, the argyle from my avatar could be done with brown, navy blue and light blue. Easy to do also.
