I have one that I am close to finishing putting the top together. This is a wedding present and I do not feel comfortable quilting it. Do LAQ do small wall hangings or are they to small.

Here on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, I think they do and $15 per hr. Would love to see the finish piece.

Sure, but many (most?) have a minimum charge, say $40, even if the cost calculated by price per inch comes out to a lower amount.

sure they do -- I sent mine to Charisma and she really enhanced it -- she did what I asked and improved on my idea.

Our longarm quilters will do wall hangings...you just pay for the set up etc and it's about $50-$60 depending on size...thread choice.. and quilting choice.

Some do, some don't. I do and I don't charge a set-up or minimum, just my normal per sq. in. charge so you just need to shop around. And I agree the quilting on the pic is totally awesome. The other nice thing about doing these little guys is that you can get custom work on something gorgeous like this without spending your entire life savings.

Surely they would quilt your wall hanging. Cant hurt to ask. Be sure to post it. :)
