Walmart
 

Can anyone tell me if there is a list of walmarts which now have fabric? I live in the metro Atlanta area and so far the ones close to me don't have it.

I don't know of any list.

I've never found one. Maybe the people on here can help you with that. I lived near Beaufort SC a few years and they had it. Walterboro SC did not. That's a good hop from Atlanta I know but I thought I would throw that out there in case everyone wants to chime in on their local walmarts. I live near Beckley WV now. They do have fabric but the Crab Orchard WV Walmart does not.

Have fabric at Wal-marts.

It's like you have to road trip to find the Wal-marts that do have it.

Walmart at Windward Parkway (Ex 11 Of 400 ) Alpharetta Ga has it. The one in Roswell dose not have it. Stop by Joann fabric at ex 9 say Hi I'll be working there today.

I just emailed their corporate office to see if they have a list of all the stores that carry fabrics. Guess we will wait and see what they've got to say!

I'd like to know too. The three near me (Newton, IA, Grinnell, IA, and Pella, IA) have fabric departments. When I travel, I'd like to know which are some that I should make an extra effort to go to.

Walmart has a small internet fabric presence that allows you to buy fabric online and choose free shipping to store or $0.97 direct shipping to buyer. I have bought electronics and prescriptions this way, but never fabric. I imagine choices are limited. If everyone emailed corporate, we could probably persuade them to add "Fabric Dept." to the list of their searchable services in "Store Locator."

The metro area is big. On the south side in union city, exit hwy 138 off of interstate 85. Take a right just a short distant from the old Sh. mall. They have a nice dept. The one in Newnan is getting better.

The Walmart in Cumming, GA has fabric as well as the one on Hwy 9 between Cumming and Alpharetta. Also check out the quilt store on the west side of Cumming named Thread Bear Fabrics. The website says they have 16,000 bolts of fabric. ( The Walmart in Dahlonega never got rid of their fabric)

If you ever travel I-90 through S. Mn, the Blue Earth Wal-Mart has a good fabric dept.

I believe you can call 1-800 WALMART and they would be able to tell you the one that is closest to your location.

I know this isn't close but if your heading up 575 hwy. to Canton they have fabric. Don't know about the Woodstock or Kennesaw store.

Get out your phone book, look up the Walmarts that are close enough for you to drive and place a phone call. They will tell you if their store has a fabric dept.

On line, put your zip code into the Walmart search for locations, and call the stores listed.

Beaufort ,SC Hardyville,SC and Pooler, Ga all have it now.Kind of far from Atlanta though.

Why don't you call the corporate headquarters? They would give you one.

add Faribault, MN and Apple Valley, MN. You have a long road trip ahead of you.

Next time you go to WalMart, ask at the front desk, they may have a list printed out for you.

The Walmart just north of Acworth on 41 has fabric. I find myself in there far too often.

Go online and get the stores' nearest to you phone numbers and call them.

Anyone near Azle, 20 mi NW of Fort Worth, TX, our Azle Walmart is updating their fabric department and have some neat stuff.

Hillview Walmart in Hillview, KY, Bashford Manor in Louisville, Bowling Green, Ky and Bardstown KY all have fabric.

Disappointed with Peterborough Ontario, Walmart -- one small aisle of small precuts. Told the store clerk I am not coming back to a store that doesn't have a fabric dept. She said some wrote letters but only in USA are they getting fabric . It's down the road from the Fabricland (like Joannes)
Needed lime/mint green and a 2 walking feet. Nothing. Have to go to other end of city and hope to
find machine parts but my friend was too tired since we started out to buy a dishwasher. So another 50 min trip
will be planned --by the time you add in lunch and grocery shopping the whole day is shot.
List of stores with fabric may convince Walmart how serious we are as I would use it as we drive to Fl

Try shopping www.walmart.com Their fabrics are online for purchase. You can also do a search online for WM stores in your area by zipcode to narrow down to available stores that might have a fabric department. The phone numbers and addresses are listed and you could call the stores to find out.

Walmart has some fabric on line. Go to Walmart.com Then click on Gifts, Crafts & Party Supplies.
There will be a drop down and you will see fabric. Click on that and it will take you to the fabrics.
The wonderful part is they only charge 97 cents postage!! Or you can have it shipped to your
nearest Walmart for free. Enjoy!!

Panola Rd in Decatur and Hwy 85 in Jonesboro has fabric. Why don't you look ar their phone listing and call the stores closest to you and ask them if they have fabric.

Peachtree City and Lovejoy still have fabric.

Belvidere il and both walmarts in Rockford il also big selection there
