I'm shopping the 50% off sale at Connecting threads and can't find Warm and Natural batting there. Is there a comparable brand that works in pot holders with insultbrite? It may be a dumb question but I always just use the stuff I have and it's not in marked bags so I want to get the right stuff to deal with the heat.

I think they only carry Hobb's batts, it's a good brand, I use it a lot

I am a W&N fan and recently tried some Hobbs 80/20. It is OK and seems a little fluffier than W&N. It quilts real nice and I could recommend the Hobbs. (Still prefer W&N but it's nice to branch out from time to time.) Hobbs is real good for trapunto because it has a nice "grab" factor. (Won't shift)

Thank you!

you do have to put more quilting in the Hobb's, I think it has a 3-4" limit

I also am a W&N fan, but have used Hobbs with great results. It is more fluffy than W&N which for some projects I prefer. However, I have had some Hobbs pieces that are rather thin in places - maybe a quality control issue.
