Warm & Natural vs. Warm & White

Is there a difference between these 2 battings? I have read about both and the only thing I can figure is the color! At Joann's, the Warm & White Queen size pre-packaged is $4.00 cheaper than the Warm & Natural.

I agree with you I think it is only the color. I have used both.

I like to use white under bright colored tops. really makes the pop.

Warm & White has been 'cleaned' of the small flakes of cotton husk. It used to make more of a difference before they developed a new cleaning process for all their products. W&N used to be much more 'flakey' than it is now.

You are correct , one is beached to a white color ! But the natural ... actually has dye !

good description on The Warm Company web site.
I also like Warm Blend which is white cotton and poly

I have used bolts of both and there is really no difference. Get the one that is cheaper. I was told the white was bleached to that color and is nice to use on quilts that have a white or light back ground. that said the last bolt I bought was Warm and Natural because it was cheaper.

I love W & W for my brighter qu8ilts especially if I used white or off white. I keep both W&N and W&W on hand.

Remember they always told us to wear beige underwear so it wouldn't show through to the outside.

i always tend to use the beige, even under a white quilt. I also tend to always quilt using natural thread instead of white because of the same thing. I would use the white batting under a top that you can't tell what might be in the middle.
