Warm and Plush Batting
Hi all, I'm getting ready to put my quilt together and I'm using Warm and Plush batting..never used it before. It has two distinct sides and I don't know if it matters which side faces the backing. One side is just kinda normal looking and the other is smoother and has distinct needle marks. If somebody could chime in and let me know I'd appreciate it. Also, if anyone has used it could you let me know if you liked it and why?

One thought is to go to the Warm & Plush company on-line and I'm sure they will have lots of info about their batting.

I don't have a favorite batting and have decided as a personal challenge to try all battings or at least as many as I can reasonably find. I thought that way I could decide for myself which I like the most.

I am not familiar with that particular batting, but the general rule of thumb if you are machine quilting is: the smooth or scrim side goes down, against the backing, to prevent bearding. The bumpy side goes up, against the back of the quilt top.
