Warning of quilt site/retailer scam
 

There is a group in the philippines using legitimate quilt shops and websites to promote their so called handmade quilts and other items.
They started using Equilter.com and posted pictures, phone numbers and addresses stolen from the quiltersfix.com quilt sp. equilter.com got them to stop using the Equilter.net name and changed their name to quiltify.net. However, they were still using stolen images from quiltersfix.com based in Sheridan, WY. The owner of this shop is still receiving complaint calls of credit card charges and no merchandise sent. The scammers are selling cheap, poor quality quilts......sometimes...other times, they are stealing from customers credit card accounts. The owner of Quiltersfix.com sent her husband to the Sheridan, WY address they are using and it is a vacant building. Please beware of this scam operation (quiltify.net) if anyone knows how we can stop this group, please post or PM me and I will share with the WY shop owner.

Report it to the authorities. It's tough since it's international fraud, but it might fall under the FTC if it's crossing state lines (e.g. someone in a neighboring state falls victim to the Wyoming address.)

Might also be postal fraud if the scammers are using mail forwarding from the Wyoming address.
