I recently bought the F&P one because it is so much smaller for detail work. I always wait for a 50% off sale at JAF.

Judy Niemeyer likes and uses the UHU brand. Also she recommends the fons and porter brand.

Sometimes a dab of the liquid glue works just as well. I like it for smaller items I don't want to risk distorting with the pull of the glue stick. That said, trying to get a controlled amount was difficult until I found these caps that lay done a very fine line of glue and fit on Elmer's and generic bottles. I am not affiliated with this site, it is just where I've found them: http://pileofabric.com/collections/s...ucts/glue-tips

I found the Plaid caps at Walmart in the craft aisle. 6 sizes, I use the smallest one for bindings. Don't remember the price but don't think the pkg. was very pricey.
