Beautiful hand embroidery, it sucks when marks won't disappear. Words of wisdom, always test on scraps before the real quilt is done. Everyone has to learn the hard way, you are not the first and will not be the last.

It is beautiful.. Is it a matzoh cover? I can't see the problem, but I would try the Oxyclean.. I find it amazing..

Your quilt is beautiful. Just remember, anyone else will be looking at it and admiring it on the aristry and beauty as a whole not just where the marks are.

It is absolutely gorgeous, your work is wonderful, you are so talented. I was so busy looking at the work I did not see any marks.
|
which washable graphite pencil did you use. I guess it was mentioned in your previous post but would be good to know now.
|
Have you tried Mr. Clean Magic Eraser? It works great on regular pencil, but I haven't tried it on graphite.
Do a test swatch first and see how it works. |
Such gorgeous ribbon embroidery! What marks? I only see beauty.

I think it is stunningly beautiful! Your detail is fabulous. Now I HAVE to try the ribbon....

The pen I used was the Fons and Porter washable graphite pen.
