Washable markers
 

Please, which color ultra clean washable marker do you find comes out of white fabric the best? Thank you!

Always test to be sure. What might come out easily on one project may not come out of the next. I wa gifted some washable markers that state they wash off from hands/ skin easily. ( might) wash out of some fabrics when washed with Hot water and strong detergent. :(
i prefer using ( made for marking quilts) air/ water disappearing markers. Since that's what they are made for.
Pit also seems to depend on if your fabrics were prewashed, any starch/ sizing used.... Lots of variables when using tools made for something else. So, to be on the safe side, test before marking a whole quilt.
i marked a whole quilt once, the marks came out of the top fine, but ( seeped) through to the backing and stayed there forever. I was so upset, & it was a marker a quilt shop owner talked me into.

I have the best luck with green, blue or purple, but all of them come out for me with minimal effort.

**Please note that this post does not refer to Crayola Ultra Clean washable markers. It refers to Crayola Super Tip Washable markers. The regular washable markers are about twice as difficult to remove as the newer Ultra Clean markers. I marked an entire quilt that was white on white (with some applique) with an Ultra Clean red marker & every last bit of it came out. It's actually the yellow marker that I've found the trickiest, but even that comes out with the slightest bit of agitation. I usually like to soak my quilts in the bathtub to be sure I can see that all the marks came out before I toss them in the wash. With little to no soap at all, the Ultra Cleans will come out. I used to teach K-2 and am very, very familiar with the regular old-fashioned Washable markers. All I can say is ... the almost always come out, but use at your own risk.

I've yet to see an instance where the Ultra Clean markers didn't come out -- ever.

Please note that I linked to the Classic Colors. I have not tried the Bold Colors, though I imagine those come out just as easily. The Ultra Clean markers are available at your local Target, Walmart, Kmart, etc.

I love the Crayola ultra clean fine tip markers...I have used all colors - no problems

I am old fashion and still use the Blue be gone when marking white fabric. Never had any problem in over 20 years.
