So many world events are going to be driving prices up even more.. I'm building my stash now while I still can!
What are your thoughts on this? |
Yes, cotton and everything going up in prices
|
My purchase of fabric has gone way down. IF I buy somehthing it's usually on sale. The cost has gone up so much along with gas, I have to make really sure I will use it. trying to work from my stash.

Last month I had a small windfall so after I paid everything I needed to and stocked my pantry I started to build up my stash. Now I have lots of fabric to keep me going, but still looking for more sales LOL. Never can have too much. I saw on some report today all prices are probably going to rise more due to all the flooding going on.

I have only been sewing sine last Sept...I have enough stash for at least a year or two...of course there are always one or two fabric colors missing... ; )
|
My favorite shop raised the prices 25% since January on the flat-folds I prefer to buy (mostly past season, so way below new retail).
It's a good year to sew up some of my stash. I've got enough I shouldn't ever have to buy fabric, but I can't resist! Brought home another 30+ yards today! |
I have enough in my stash to weather a price rise however that won't stop me looking at sales.
|
I'm going through my whole room and rethinking my stash. Don't like the way prices are going!! My stuff is looking better and better...........
|
I've been stash building for a while now, mostly stuff that was on sale (bought a ton of batiks in Paducah). Looking at my stash right now it's more in need of a good organization than company :)
|
Organizing mine is on my list of things to do also, I just have a couple of quilts I need to finish first due to deadlines. I think I have enough fabric for awhile but always looking for sales. Bought some from Connecting Threads last night as they had Mirage and Solids on sale for 2.96 a yard which is 40% off.
