At work (busy ER) everone has water bottles. The bottles sweat and leave a mess. Has anyone seen a pattern for water bottles that would solve this problem?

Would a regular water bottle holder work? You could just leave off the strap. Sew a tube that would fit around the bottle and add a bottom.

Tervis tumblers are fabulous - non-sweating and they have lids and straws.

If you can find a double-walled stainless steel bottle, those can also be found that don't sweat. We get ours from FlyLady.

Here's one. If they're going to sit on a desk, just leave the strap off. You could make it with Insulbrite, too.

I make neoprene koozies for my water bottles. You can get the flat blanks at http://www.koozielady.com/ All you have to do is sew up the sides, I use a 1/4" seam.

I usually embroider on them but they are also cute if you do some crazy quilting before you stitch them up.

you could just cut the top off of a stretchy sock. it will absorb the sweat. no money, easy. and we recycle our 1 of a kind socks
