Wavy Quilt Top
 

Hello! I finished a diamond quilt top and have cut my top into a rectangle. The half diamonds on the quilt top and sides are causing many waves on the edges of my quilt top. I tried to add borders measuring three times each way and averaging but the borders were very wavy. I removed them. I have looked online and tried spraying with BestPress and ironing, but still can't get the waves out. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Many thanks in advance!

Can you post a picture? That would really help us see where the issue might be, a picture is indeed worth a thousands words when troubleshooting.

Make sure the picture size isn't too big, resize if necessary
Then all the way to the right is the “upload” button.

It seemed I had to open a new thread to post the pix. It's now under 'Wavy Quilt Top II" Thanks!
