Okay ladies. I, all of a sudden, need a quilt by July. A Wedding
Quilt that is not too difficult. I don't need colors as much as I
need the design of the quilt. It is a second marriage for the bride. I'd be greatful for any ideas you can share with me.

I don't have any ideas for you...sorry!! But, I'm working on a wedding quilt for my granddaughter right now. I just took my favorite book to her and let her pick out the pattern. She picked darting minnows. She told me the colors she wants and I'm working on it. I hope to have it done by the middle of May...... better get back to working on it.

I think I would talk to the bride and get an idea of a pattern from her, and colors as well.

I'd also suggest that some colors are mentioned while asking her what she would like. However, if for a bride's quilt I may go with the old bride's quilt with the rings. MY favorite quilt is a log cabin, and I find it is also the favorite of most everyone I know!

Single wedding ring quilt is easy or it can be crown of thorns. I did this one for my ds & his wife for their wedding in creams & blue. Turned out beautiful but come to find out "blue' is her least favorite color! truthfully I think it was because I made it! She never used any of the baby quilts I made either (5 of them)
