I'm agreeing with Lormito, both the ones on the connecting threads site would work for you, but the one with the flower on it is very pretty, I have seen it and it is beautiful - ? do you like to dust????...that would be my only issue...LOL

I went to JoAnns and bought a round piece of wood in the painting dept. Screwed it to the bottom and works great!! Make sure your set screw is tight for the post

I have one that looks like the one Mcwilla posted. I bought it so long ago, I have no idea where I got it. It's got a nice heavy base and is very sturdy. It's survived 20 years of use and 2 moves.

I insert an old narrow spool of thread inside the cone and keep it on my normal spool holder on the machine.
