Off topic kinda, can I save the thread I have on my old bobbins? How?

You could put your old bobbin on the spindle where your spool of thread goes. Then wind it onto your new bobbins.

Or you could keep the old bobbins and use them when you have hand sewing projects.

Just be careful to not get confused as to which are the old/new bobbins.

Thanks! I thought about putting the old bobbin on the thread spindle after I made that last post. It worked! I have two bobbins ready! Yay!

Congrats on the new machine...why is it that none of the machine manufactures tell you in the manual what size bobbin your machine takes? If I didn't have the internet...I wouldn't have a clue! I always write it on the outside of the manual and put a little note in my notebook in my purse so that I know the next time! Even the old machine manuals didn't care to include that information!

my beloved janome is 22 (!!!!) years old and shows no sign of giving me a reason to buy another....but i do so long for an empty bobbin alert!
