I was sewing a piece together and when I finished, I went to snip the thread and saw that I had run out of bobbin. At the very last stitch!

I'll never do that again.

Karma smiled! :D

Don't you love when that happens? It's the quiliting fairy at work!

Usually you run out of bobbin when you're about 2 inches from the end!

not me I usually will just get buzzing along on chain piecing and finally realize I ran out of bobbin way long time ago and will have a nice pile of not sewed pieces behind my machine

moonhoney2, that is pretty perfect timing!
My machine picks on me. When it gets low, it starts beep-beep-beeping at me. I mean, come on, there is enough left on that for another foot or eighteen inches! It's always beeping when I'm close to finished. I usally can finish without replacing it, if it would just quit beeping and shutting down! I just keep hitting the ok button, and if I sew fast, I can get farther next time before the beep! LOL

Ug! What kind of machine is that? I want to make sure to avoid it in the future.

I hate when things beep at you. My car drove me nuts until I figured out how to disable the seatbelt beep. I harassed the dealership guy until he told me where to find it in the book.

Me, too  I thought I was the only one who didn't pay enough attention. I think my mind wanders when I'm sewing and I don't know where I've been :!: I am trying to be more careful about watching the bobbin now.
