We went to dinner and when we met up with our friends, they presented to me 3 quilt books

I was very surprised and very happy. I told my hubby that I would like to make them something. He suggested a lap quilt

and...... the nices thing about a lap quilt, they can hang it, too. I love them for gifts.

I actually told, DH that I was going to make them a lap quilt. I am working now,on my 1st bagello, but, I am making just same size square one. I am not all that exp, and with each quilt I attempt, I go a little more difficult, if not blocks then design, and believe me, this is sure a challenge

I would go to dinner with these folks any time! Even have them over with my special desserts...but, go girl, these are great books. You will enjoy them.

It is great to meet with friends for an enjoyable evening. Then to be surprised like that, they really love you and are always thinking of you. What super friends they are, and they know that you are

Having friends that give you "just because" gifts are a treasure. It says we love you and support your creative gift. I agree a lap quilt or one they can both cuddle under together would be a lovely gesture.
