Today my daughter and I went to the 37th Northwest Quilt Show. What a disappointment. We have gone every year and have had so much fun. This year there were no How to classes, demos on anything, and very few vendors. It was a real bummer. This is the only quilt show that we have here and we really look forword to this.I know times are hard but for the money we paid to get in I dont know if we will be going again.Has anyone else noticed the same at the quilt shows in their area?

Not at the Dallas one. I've just noticed that I pretty much have the toys that I want & will use. I didn't buy a whole lot this year, but I just didn't see much that caught my eye.
I saw several quilts that just made my jaw drop because they were so beautiful and/or artsy. |

Gas prices and the economy probably had alot to do with it. The horse shows I've gone to have had way fewer horses and fewer vendors. Not to mention fewer spectators.
