One of the disappointments of the quilts that I backed with poly/cotton, is that they don't breathe like 100% cotton at all - they're hot!

I'd use it on the backs of wallhangings, table toppers, placemats, tree skirts, anything like that. Then you don't have to worry about it being hot or how it will wear.

I would use it if its pretty and feels good.

I've used them..one thing, if you are hand quilting, make sure the needle goes through it okay. I backed a quilt with one once and it was a bear to get the needle threw it!
